What is your Height?

a.) Petite (Under 5’3) – A petite person should pick a purse that fits her stature; going from the small to medium size.  Try not to pick something that falls below your waist – line.

b.) Average (5’4 – 5’7”) – The average height person has the biggest variety of options.  The key is to stay away from the extremes of extra large or tiny. Small, Medium or Large; we have a purse that will fit you.

c.) Tall (5’8” and above) -  The tall person simply wants to stay away from the extreme of a very small purse.  Even then; feel free to pick a small purse just stay away from wearing it against your body.  Celebrate you & pick a purse that not all can pull off; the big & bold!

What do you wear in your daily life?  Take a look at the outer layer that you wear most such as coats blazers & sweaters.  These are the items that your handbag will sit against & accent.

My outer layer consists mostly of:

a.) Neutral colors (black, brown, white, tan) – When you are wearing a neutral color on your outer layer – this is a prime opportunity to add a punch of color.  Pick a favorite color or a fun pattern (being sure to match your skin tone). The options are open as the neutrality of your outfit is a canvas for your handbag.

b.) Bold Patterns & Prints – With your patterns pick a solid color or neutral that will accent the colors in your patterns.  Black or brown will almost always work.

Bold Color Blocks – if you wear solid colors on your top – your outfit is the center of the show.  Picking a black or brown purse will not only accent your outfit; any dark color will “carve out” on the section it lies against.  If your purse is black or dark & falls at your waist; it will make your waist look smaller.  To make your purse the center of attention – pick a pattern that will accent your solid color.

How do you fill your purse?

 a.) Everything has a place.  The order in your purse will help you keep order in your life.  If you need something you know where it is because “there’s a pocket for that”.

b.) Just the basics.  If you carry a purse that is a miracle.  Most likely, you would rather make use of pockets.  If you HAVE to carry a purse; you prefer something small that will hold just a wallet, phone & keys.

c.) Throw it in & find it later – Your purse holds all of your needs on any given day.  If you need a change of shoes – thow ‘em in there.  A book for down time? Got it! Your purse carries your world & your world is always changing & on the go.

Think of where your purse is against your body.  The area that your purse against is an area that is being accented.  What is your best feature?  Where do you want to draw attention?

a.) I like a shoulder bag – my purse needs to pass the elbow test & slide easily onto my shoulder

b.) I like a long strap – my purse hangs low

c.) My purse hangs on my arm – good for people with back problems, purse can also tuck securely under your arm.  Having your purse on your arm is a good fashion neutral place.  It is not against anything – it just stands out.
